Tango+ for Toyota/Lexus V6.0 - SmartKey Systems OBD Framework
 
 


Update 1.108 of Tango programmer introduces brand new functionallity for work with Toyota/Lexus vehicles equiped with SmartKey Systems via OBD. The framework is implemented in Tango Toyota+ software. Main objective of the software is to allow addition of Smart keys in "all keys lost" situation by creating emulator which allows to get permission to register new keys via diagnostic equipment.

Emulator SLK-01 - Supports work with DST40 smartkeys [Page1 94,D4]. SLK-01 supports emulation/clonning - functionallity of the emulator is part of Tango base software.

 

Emulator SLK-02 - Supports work with DST80 smartkeys [Page1 98]. SLK-02 supports emulation/clonning - functionallity of the emulator requires activation of SLK-02 additional software.

Toyota+ V6.0 utilizes new type of interface, compared to previous versions. The cable used has to be J2534 compliant.

Tactrix Openport 2.0

The OpenPort 2.0 is our newest tuning tool hardware that is capable of communicating with a most OBDII compliant vehicles using a standard J2534 interface. Combined with our EcuFlash software, the OpenPort 2.0 is capable of reflashing a large number of newer Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles, and support for other cars is in progress.

We include a USB cable with each OpenPort, which is all the hardware you'll need unless you have one of the few vehicles that require a separate reflash adapter. For Subaru you'll only need a reflash adapter for the 2001 through 2005 WRX, but not STi, unless you're working on an early non USDM STi in which case you made need one of our WRX adapters. No other Subaru vehicles require reflash adapters including Forester, Baja, Legacy, or naturally aspirated Impreza models. For Mitsubishi, you'll need the adapter for most pre CAN vehicles which include the 5-9 Evo. Choose the adapter you need from the 'Reflash Adapters' drop down list on the right side of this page.

The device is intended for programming of transponders, that are a part of automobile immobilizing systems.

Unlike the previous model the Gambit, new model Tango is the two-band device that has allowed to add the list supported transponders with firm Texas Instruments products (Tiris ©).

For the present moment Tango has the following built in makers and functions

The device has ergonomic design with high mechanical characteristics of  IP65 class according to the DIN EN 60529 standard. The device has following dimensions:

length   160 mm
width    80 mm
height   50 / 30 mm

The device enclosure is made of  3mm ABS-plastics with a rubber shock-proof damping seal which simultaneously is a decor element. The seal also prevents the device sliding on a work table surface.

Also as well as the Gambit, the device derives the power from USB and does not demand connection of an external power source. Difference is use of drivers of other type that allows to avoid conflicts to other devices working through virtual ports.
USB2.0/3.0

Unlike the Gambit, the device has wide slot for keys of any size and two small holes of various depth for transponders of any sizes.

LED indication unlike Gambit is taken out on the upper cover of the case that is solution more convenient in using.

The program interface has the modern intuitive design favorably differing from the interface of Gambit.

Meeting modern requirements, Tango supports OS Vista that was not  realized in Gambit. Supported versions of Windows:

Glossary

Gambit (Gambit)
Programmer for transponders. Has an out-of-date one-band design, mismatches modern technical requirements. To familiarize with the description it is possible on the same web site.

Tango (Tango)
Programmer for transponders. The two-band model following after Gambit, answers modern technical requirements.

The maker (key maker)
The mathematical apparatus built in the program allowing automatically to create keys for cars. Usually, the maker uses the memory content (dump) of an immobilizer in the form of a file with .BIN extension. Does not require technical knowledge of the operator.
